While ship-shore communication environments have improved significantly with the spread of next-generation satellite technology like Starlink, we have frequently received inquiries from customers needing a dedicated voice phone number on vessels that are not equipped with FBB or Certus.

To address this need, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new IP phone service: ORiON Link.

Service Highlights

Free From Satellite Carrier's Lock-In: Gain a dedicated voice phone number regardless of your upstream satellite providers. ORiON Link supports full inbound and outbound calling using the same phone number across Starlink, OneWeb, 4G/5G, VSAT, or Fleet Xpress (FX).

Cost-Saving Internal Calls: While external call rates are comparable to standard maritime phone rates, installing ORiON Link at your shore office enables free extension calls between your office and vessels (only consumes upstream data packets).

Flexible Device Support: Choose between Grandstream IP desktop phones or mobile smartphones.

Plug-and-Play Setup: All equipment is arranged, pre-configured, and shipped directly by ORCA. On board, simply connect the phone to the ship's network cable—no complex setup required.

International Phone Numbers: Select phone numbers from the UK, US, or Australia.

This service is ideal for vessels using Starlink or other satellite setups that require a dedicated, reliable phone number.
