Notice Regarding Expected PC Price Increase Due to Rising Memory Costs

Thank you for your continued support.

Due to the rapid expansion of  AI technologies, demand for data
centers has surged significantly, resulting in a sharp rise in memory
chip prices. As a result, memory chips for general-purpose devices are
now in limited supply, and component unit prices have risen by
approximately four to five times.

The impact on retail PC prices is expected to appear in the general
market within the next one to two months. Unfortunately, a price
increase of around JPY 40,000–50,000 per PC is expected to be
unavoidable.

While ORCA have secured a limited stock of PCs at current prices, we
strongly recommend that shipping companies planning large-scale PC
replacements or renewals contact us as early as possible.

Thank you for your continued trust in ORCA.

Yours Sincerely,
