Multiple Starlink Installations Enabled by ORiON L3

Multiple Starlink Installations Enabled by ORiON L3

Thank you for your continued support.

We are pleased to share a recent example of how our ORiON L3 device,
which can aggregate and manage up to eight communication networks,
has been successfully used to implement multiple Starlink systems on a single vessel.

----------
Case Study 1: Installation of Four Starlink Maritime Units

To operate a high-data-demand system at sea, four Starlink Maritime terminals were installed.

The vessel’s onboard network includes several systems—Business LAN,
Crew LAN, and surveillance systems. ORiON L3 allows simultaneous
use of multiple connections, intelligently distributing bandwidth to
ensure stable communication for each system.

In cases where priority is needed, ORiON L3 can temporarily limit
certain subnetworks and allocate bandwidth to specific systems as required.
----------
Case Study 2: 1×Starlink Maritime + 2×Starlink Roam Units】

This configuration was designed to maximize communication efficiency
during coastal navigation and when docked.

Three flat high-performance antennas were installed: two connected via
domestic Starlink Roam contracts and one using a 50GB Starlink Maritime plan.

While sailing near the coast or docked, the two Starlink Roam units are used
to secure unlimited data communication.

When sailing in areas where Starlink Roam is unavailable,
the system switches to Starlink Maritime. In such cases,
communication is filtered to prioritize essential data only.

This is a domestic cargo vessel, and with this setup,
it achieves extremely cost-effective and high-speed connectivity.
----------

With the increasing use of surveillance subsystems such as CCTV,
the demand for higher-speed and higher-capacity onboard networks is growing.

Deploying multiple Starlink units is becoming a viable solution,
and ORiON L3 is the ideal device to meet this need.
