Notice of Symantec Anti-Virus License Price Increase
We appreciate your ongoing support.
We would like to inform you about the Symantec Anti-Virus product “Service name: Symantec Endpoint”.
Due to an announcement by Broadcom Corporation, the supplier of Symantec,
about a license price increase, we have consequently revised the license price as follows.

Current: 4,800 JPY per PC per year
Revised: 5,800 JPY per PC per year
*This revision will be reflected in invoices from July 1, 2024 onwards.

We would appreciate your understanding on this matter.
Also, for customers who wish to reduce the operating costs of PCs, we kindly suggest switching to other Anti-virus products.
We recommend “Windows Defender’', which is a standard feature of Windows and is free of charge.
Please note that, however, Windows Defender does not support updating definition files via CD/DVD, but all updates must be done online.
For vessels without broadband communications, we kindly suggest considering the installation of Starlink and/or global 4G devices at this time.
