About changing scheme of vessel PCs maintenance

Thank you for your continuous support as always.

We would like to inform you about changing our vessel PCs maintenance scheme.

The life period of PCs on board tend to be shorter than PCs' on land, since vessels' PCs are under much stress such as moisture and libration.

We have sent a PC list to you every year to recommend a regular PC maintenance for prolonging PCs' life period by HDD replacement, memory expansion, OS re-setting, and so on.

Though, these maintenance method is recently facing needs to be changed, since PCs become more complicated and precisive defvice.

From above reason, we are planning to renew our regular maintenance scheme.

We will announce you more practical maintenance schedule in new way.

This new style will be started from 2018.

We would like to send a PC list with following information as PC maintenance eference.

・ The date of initial installation

・ Recommended replacement period

・ Last checking condiion date

The new PC list is a reference information to make your yearly maintenance plan.

We are happy if our PC list can be any help for you.

From January 2018, we are planning to provide a new style of PC lists based on the new maintenance scheme introduced above.
